Rainy Scribbles

It's been a mixed baggage of rains this year, some parts of the country received heavy rainfall whereas some parts haven't received a single drop. Some places face flood like conditions, some places face drought. Here below are few of my scribbles during my wandering in the wild.

Concrete Fill

Tadpoles in the muddy puddle,
Together stay put in a huddle,
Their Mother lay dead in a road kill,
Puddle tomorrow a concrete fill.

Silver Twine

Caught in the nylon nets, the pelicans die,
Their chicks in hunger cry,
Painted storks leg caught in the line,
Even tiny fins struggle in silver twine.

Common Crow
Rain drops on my forehead pour,
Lion behind the clouds began to roar,
Sparks of its teeth strike lighting blow,
Scavenging across came a wet common crow.
