Longer Zone

In the urban setup birds are doing their best to adapt to the ever rapid changing environment. After many years i heard a Indian Koel sing however it was at a busy traffic signal. Which made me wonder how his mate will hear his calls, if they do to how would they  respond to his calls.

Think about it!

Longer Zone

The Kho he hoo, Kho he hoo sounds of the known,
Get lost in the Droom, droom, pomp, pomp groan,
Of the four, two flashing wheels on man made roads,
His waiting mate, waits more patiently for codes,

No dusk, no morn, the Droom, droom never stops,
Under bridges and over the blinking concrete shops,
No sun, No moon, No stars, No breeze, No silver drops,
No dusk, no morn, the Droom, droom never stops,

Twinkling fake bulbs, Oh! Harsh, too harsh to fly,
Many wings have forsaken, this place; their sweet good bye,
The Kho he hoo, Kho he hoo sounds of the known,
His waiting mate, will have to wait for longer zone.
